I HATE THESE CARDS

Yay, Lil G's back to school tomorrow - wwhhheeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!

Sorry.

Anyway, have to make three different Sympathy cards - they're going to the same family - and I've had absolutely no mojo at all these last few days. I was really chuffed with my 25th card, but I think it used up all my inspiration! I made three and hated them all. Then, for some reason - and it might have been hubby's idea (I hate that, too) - I made this one. And I think it's okay.

We had hundreds of these when Dad was killed and I hated them. I hate making them, too. But that's one down. I hope it's suitable.
It's simple Cuttlebug corners and the wording was done in WordArt.

this is beautiful,
I know they are so hard to make,
I struggled when I made three when Laura died.
I also know that when we lost a loved one that it was a comfort afterwards.
Especially when someone took the time to make it.

Yep, I think you've got this spot on, especially knowing how hard it must be for you after losing your Dad. It's very beautiful. xxx

It is a lovely card and I hate making them too....I don't think you have lost your mojo, it is the subject matter and association...

Aww Debs, this is a really lovely card and I would have been pleased to have received such a lovely card when I lost my Steve, I don't think is necessarily the cards you hate it is the memories they bring back from when you received all yours. I treasure all those I received and have read them through from time to time since. They give me strength knowing people cared so much.

I think this is lovely. I've just had to make 2 sympathy cards of my own and I like to do simple white embossed cards with a sage green sentiment and ribbon. You dont need much to make them look beautiful and you've done a great job here.

I think it is a beautiful card! And I'm sure the others were too :) It is an occasion I think most of us struggle with in cardmaking, but I'm sure the recipients can feel the love that has gone into creating them. You've also inspired me to dig out my very under-used Cuttlebug corner folders!
